We offer a large variety of stone products including base stone, clean stone, concrete stone, washed chips, erosion stone, rip rap, lime fill, and ag lime. Our quarries are conveniently located throughout the tri-state area. Call your nearest dispatch center for delivery information.
Stone PRODUCTS
Base Stone- Road Stone
This type of stone is a mixture of coarse and fine stone designed to support substantial loads. BARD offers 6”, 3”, 2”, 1½”, 1”, and ¾” varieties that offer high-compaction quality for projects that need a heavy load capacity.
Clean Stone
Clean stone has been produced to remove most of the lime in order to accommodate water drainage. BARD produces it in 6”, 3”, 2”, 1”, and ¾” varieties (at most locations).
Concrete Stone
Comprised of the highest physical quality stone and graded with durability, workability, finishability, and pumpability of a concrete mix in mind.
Erosion Stone
Erosion stone is clean, crushed limestone primarily used for erosion control or pond edging.
Rip Rap
Rip rap is a large, erosion-resistant stone commonly used to stabilize shorelines and creek banks.
Washed Chips
A washed limestone chip produced to meet specifications for porous backfill or sealcoating.
Lime Fill
Lime fill is comprised of fine screenings and excellent for applications where a solid base is required.
Manufactured Sand
Finer than 3/8” washed chips, manufactured sand is a washed stone used for a wide range of applications.
Ag Lime
Ag Lime is a finely ground limestone mixed with acidic soil and used to neutralize a soil’s PH levels.
